The #1 WordPress website builder
Create a Beautiful Website, Lightning Fast.
Elementor is by far the best WordPress page builder. Over the years, I've used many WordPress plugins, page builders, and themes, and Elementor beats them all. It allows you to customize your website to its fullest potential with built-in templates, integrations with tons of providers, and more. I've been using it on all of my websites (including this one), and I must say that I'm extremely pleased. Elementor now has over 5 million installations!
Who Is Behind Elementor?
Elementor is the leading website builder platform for professionals on WordPress, serving web professionals including developers, designers, and marketers. Since launching in 2016 Elementor, has gained worldwide reach with more than 180 countries using it to create their websites. Elementor is an Israeli startup, with almost 100 employees as of 2021 and keeps on growing! They are all about their community of users, continuously innovating and shipping new features.
A Broad Elementor Ecosystem
Elementor provides you widgets and options with its basic and Pro packages. However, an immense plugin ecosystem has been built around it by private companies. There are gallery extensions, timeline widgets, lists, and basically everything you'd need. It’s perfect for beginners who want an easy way to get started with web design and seasoned professionals looking for more control over their projects.
Additionally, you'll find endless tutorial videos on YouTube, explaining how to do literally everything around the page builder. You can find videos to create literally every type of website.
Who Is Elementor For?
Elementor is a great choice when creating a content-based website. If you're not super tech-savvy or just want to move fast and make a beautiful site, Elementor is a great selection. Creating this website, we chose Elementor because it's easy to use, customizable, and intuitive. This website has a content-based nature and is relatively simple, so we didn’t need lots of fireworks.
On the other hand, if your website contains a lot more complex features and dynamic abilities, you should consider other options. For example, using React, Gatsby, or Vue might be a more appropriate and flexible alternative if you are a developer.
Although it has a free version, I advise upgrading. The free one is a good starting point, but for more features, you need the paid version. The amount you pay for access is quite low. Installation is quick, and you’ll be running in no time!
